Train
From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line towards Osaka Namba Station. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Get off at Osaka Namba Station. From there, transfer to the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line and travel to Hommachi Station. At Hommachi Station, transfer to the Chuo Line and ride to Osakako Station. The Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan is about a 10-minute walk from Osakako Station.
Bus
From Nara City Center, head to the Nara Bus Terminal. Take the bus bound for Osaka and get off at the Osaka Station. From Osaka Station, transfer to the subway. Take the Midosuji Line to Hommachi Station, then switch to the Chuo Line and ride to Osakako Station. Once you arrive at Osakako Station, follow the signs for the aquarium, which is approximately a 10-minute walk away.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Nara to Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan. The taxi ride will take around 50 minutes, depending on traffic. Be sure to show the driver the address: '1 Chome-1-10 Kaigandori, Minato Ward, Osaka, 552-0022'.
