Public Bus
From Nara Park, walk to the Nara Kintetsu Station (about 15 minutes). Take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Kyoto Station. Once at Kyoto Station, transfer to bus number 204 or 205 from the bus terminal. Get off at Iwakura Hataedacho stop. Myōman-ji Temple is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Head east on Hataedacho Street and follow the signs.
Train and Walk
Start at Nara Station and take the JR Nara Line to Kyoto Station. At Kyoto Station, transfer to the Kyoto Subway Karasuma Line and ride to Kitayama Station. Exit the station and walk north along Kitayama Street for about 20 minutes until you reach Iwakura Hataedacho. Myōman-ji Temple will be on your left.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your location in Nara directly to Myōman-ji Temple. Simply tell the driver the address: 〒606-0015 Kyoto, Sakyo Ward, Iwakura Hataedacho, 91. The ride will take approximately 40 minutes, depending on traffic.
