Train
From Nara Station, take the JR Nara Line towards Kyoto. Board the train and enjoy the scenic views. After approximately 45 minutes, disembark at Uji Station. Once you exit Uji Station, you will find yourself in the heart of Uji, where you can start exploring.
Bus
From Nara Park, head to Nara Bus Terminal. Take the 12 or the 13 bus heading to Uji. The journey will take about 50 minutes. Get off at the Uji stop, which is centrally located. From there, you can easily walk to various attractions in Uji.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, rent a bicycle in Nara. Follow the signposts towards Uji, which is approximately 20 kilometers away. The ride will take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. You'll enjoy the beautiful countryside along the way. Once you reach Uji, park your bicycle at one of the designated areas near the attractions.
