We were able to explore Nara efficiently by car. One of the highlights was visiting a local shopping street in Nara, where we got to experience the everyday life of the local community. It was a great way to see a more authentic side of Nara.

It was a wonderful tour where we visited Buddhist temples and had the chance to interact with the deer in Nara. Our Japanese guide explained everything carefully and thoughtfully, which helped me gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of Japanese culture. The experience made me love Japan and its culture even more!

Great Guide, Great Tour

Shan was amazing. From the moment he picked us up, he began to tell us about our itinerary and told us many useful and interesting facts about Kyoto and Osaka. He was very engaging and inquired about our trip and what we had done so far. He explained many cultural aspects of Japan. He proceeded to tell us about the places we would be visiting on our tour. He guided us through the temple in Nara explaining the symbolism of the statues and their poses. His knowledge and willingness to share it with us was astounding. His relaxed attitude and willingness to accommodate our wishes, made our tour more enjoyable. I would highly recommend attempting to secure him as you guide , if possible.
