Train
From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line towards Kyoto. After about 30 minutes, get off at Uji Station. Once you arrive at Uji Station, exit the station and turn left. Walk straight for about 10 minutes, following the signs towards the Uji River. Asagiri Bridge will be on your right side, spanning the river.

From Nara Park, walk to the Nara City Bus Terminal and take the bus bound for Uji. The bus ride takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Uji, get off at Uji Station. From there, head towards the Uji River, which is about a 10-minute walk. Asagiri Bridge will be on your right.

Bicycle
If you are feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Nara. Head towards the Yamatoji Line, then take the route towards Uji. The ride is approximately 12 kilometers and will take around 50 minutes. Follow the signs for Uji, and as you approach the city, you will see the Uji River and Asagiri Bridge ahead.

Walking
If you are staying in central Nara and feel like walking, you can walk directly to Uji. It's about a 12-kilometer walk which takes roughly 2.5 to 3 hours. Start at Nara Park and head south towards Uji, following the riverbank. Enjoy the scenic views along the way, and when you reach Uji, Asagiri Bridge will be visible as you approach the river.
