Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are near Nara Park, walk towards the east side of the park. From the park entrance, head east on Sanjo-dori Street until you reach the intersection with Noborioji Street. Turn left onto Noborioji Street and continue walking for about 10 minutes. Kofuku-ji will be on your right at 48 Noboriojicho.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are at Nara Station, take bus number 70 or 72 towards the 'Nara Park' direction. Get off at the 'Kofuku-ji' bus stop. From the bus stop, walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Kofuku-ji located at 48 Noboriojicho.

  • Walking

    From Todai-ji Temple, head west and exit the temple grounds. Walk straight towards the main road (Nara Park Road) and turn right. Continue walking for about 15 minutes; you will see Kofuku-ji on your right at 48 Noboriojicho.
