Walking
If you are starting from Nara Park, walk towards the main entrance of the park. Exit the park and head east on Sanjo Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Route 169. Turn left onto Route 169 and follow the road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. After 1.5 kilometers, turn right onto Imaicho Street and walk about 200 meters. Kasuga Shrine will be on your left at 3 Chome-6-162 Imaicho.
Public Transport (Bus)
From Nara Station, take the Nara Kotsu Bus bound for Kashihara. The bus stop is located outside the station. Please check the bus schedule for the next departure. It takes approximately 30 minutes to reach Kashihara. Alight at the Imaicho stop. From there, walk about 500 meters northeast along Imaicho Street, and you will arrive at Kasuga Shrine located at 3 Chome-6-162 Imaicho.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from any location in Nara. Simply ask the driver to take you to Kasuga Shrine located at 3 Chome-6-162 Imaicho, Kashihara. The taxi ride should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
