Getting There

Walking
If you are at Nara Park, head towards the east exit of the park. Once you exit the park, turn left onto the main road (Route 163). Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass by various shops and restaurants. Look for the sign for Ikenocho on your right; turn right onto Ikenocho. The NARA Visitor Center & Inn will be on your left at 3 Ikenocho.

From Nara Station, take Bus No. 70 or 72 (bound for Nara Park). Get off at the Ikenocho stop, which is approximately a 10-minute ride. From the bus stop, walk back along the road you just came from. Turn left onto Ikenocho, and you will find the NARA Visitor Center & Inn on your left at 3 Ikenocho.

Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, head towards Nara Park, then ride towards the east exit of the park. Once you are on Route 163, turn left and continue straight for about 10 minutes. Keep an eye out for Ikenocho on your right; turn right onto Ikenocho. The NARA Visitor Center & Inn will be on your left at 3 Ikenocho.
