If you are starting from Nara Park, head east towards the Naramachi Historic District. Exit the park through the main gate, and follow the signs towards Kintetsu Nara Station. Continue walking straight along the main road (Kintetsu Street) for about 15-20 minutes. You will see the Naramachi Historic District on your left after passing several shops and cafes. The exact address is 5-2 Nakanoshinyacho, Nara, 630-8333.

From Nara Station, board any bus that is heading towards Naramachi. Look for buses with routes that include 'Naramachi' or ask the bus driver if you are unsure. The bus ride takes about 10 minutes.
