Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from Nara Park, exit the park from the Nara National Museum entrance. Walk towards Sanjo Street (Sanjo-dori) and turn right onto Sanjo Street. Continue walking straight for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Nishinoshinyacho. Turn left onto Nishinoshinyacho, and you will find the Naramachi Shiryo-kan Museum at 14-3 Nishinoshinyacho. The museum will be on your right.

Public Transport
From Kintetsu Nara Station, exit the station and walk to the bus stop located just outside the station. Take the bus number 2 or 3 towards Naramachi. After about 10 minutes, get off at the Naramachi bus stop. From there, walk straight for about 5 minutes along the main road until you reach Nishinoshinyacho. Turn right onto Nishinoshinyacho, and the Naramachi Shiryo-kan Museum will be on your right at 14-3 Nishinoshinyacho.
