Getting There

Walking
If you're starting from Nara Station, exit the station and head south on Sanjo Street. Walk straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the entrance of Nara Park. Once in Nara Park, follow the signs toward the Todai-ji Temple. After visiting the temple, continue walking through the park, keeping an eye out for the deer that roam freely. Noborioji Park is located just a short walk beyond Todai-ji, to the northwest side. The park entrance will be marked, and you will see beautiful landscaping and pathways to explore.

Bus
From Nara Station, take the Nara Kotsu Bus No. 2, No. 3, or No. 4 in the direction of Todai-ji Daibutsuden (Great Buddha Hall). The bus ride takes about 10 minutes. Get off at the Todai-ji Daibutsuden bus stop. From there, walk northwest towards Noborioji Park, which is about a 5-minute walk. Look for the signs indicating the park's entrance.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops near Nara Station. Once you have your bike, head south on Sanjo Street, then take a left towards Nara Park. Cycle through Nara Park, following the paths towards Todai-ji Temple. After visiting the temple, continue northwest for a short distance to reach Noborioji Park. The park is easily accessible by bike, and there are bike racks available at the entrance.
