If you are starting from Nara Park, head south towards the Kintetsu Nara Station. Exit the park from the southern gate, and continue walking straight down Higashimuki Shopping Street until you reach the intersection with Suimoncho Street. Turn left onto Suimoncho Street. Continue walking for about 10 minutes, and you will see Isuien Garden on your right at 74 Suimoncho.

From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Kintetsu Nara Station. Once you arrive, exit the station and walk towards the east exit. From the east exit, head towards the main street (Higashimuki Shopping Street) and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Suimoncho Street. Turn left onto Suimoncho and walk for about 10 minutes. Isuien Garden will be on your right at 74 Suimoncho.
