If you are starting from Nara Park, exit the park towards the Nara National Museum. From the museum, head east on the road until you reach the intersection with Noborioji Street. Turn left onto Noborioji Street and continue walking. Yoshikien Garden will be on your left at 60-1 Noboriojicho, about a 15-minute walk from Nara Park.

From Nara Station, take the Nara Kotsu bus No. 70 or 72 and get off at the 'Noborioji' bus stop. From there, walk south along Noborioji Street for about 5 minutes. Yoshikien Garden will be on your right at 60-1 Noboriojicho. The total time including the bus ride is approximately 20-30 minutes.
