Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from central Nikko, head southeast on Route 119 towards the Nikko Utsunomiya Road. After approximately 10 minutes, merge onto the Nikko Utsunomiya Road (toll road). Continue for about 8 kilometers and take the exit toward Tokorono. Follow the signs for Tokorono and then for Nikkoshi Ogurayama Forest Park. The park is located at 2848 Tokorono, Nikko, Tochigi 321-1421. Parking is available on-site.

• Public Transportation

  From Nikko Station, take the Tobu Nikko Line train towards Shimo-Imaichi. Get off at the Tokorono Station (approximately a 10-minute ride). From Tokorono Station, you can either walk (about 30 minutes) or take a local taxi directly to Nikkoshi Ogurayama Forest Park. The taxi ride will take around 5-10 minutes and cost approximately 1,500 to 2,000 yen.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from any location in Nikko directly to Nikkoshi Ogurayama Forest Park. Simply tell the driver the address: 2848 Tokorono, Nikko, Tochigi 321-1421. The fare will depend on your starting location, but you can expect to pay around 2,000 to 3,000 yen from central Nikko.
