If you are driving, head towards Utsunomiya from Nikko. Take the Tohoku Expressway (E4) and continue for approximately 40 km. Take the exit for Utsunomiya and follow the signs towards the city center. Once you reach the city, use a GPS or map app to navigate to 1-23 Kawamukocho. Look for parking nearby as you will be visiting the Utsunomiya Gyoza Statue, which is a popular attraction.
Public Transportation
To reach the Utsunomiya Gyoza Statue via public transportation, start by taking a train from Nikko Station to Utsunomiya Station. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Utsunomiya Station, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal located outside the station. Take a local bus that heads towards Kawamukocho. The stop you need is just a short walk from the bus stop to 1-23 Kawamukocho, where the statue is located.
