If you're driving, start from the center of Oki and head towards the nearest ferry terminal, which is located in Hishiura. Take the ferry to mainland Japan, and once you arrive, follow the signs to Tokyo. When you reach Tokyo, take the C1 Loop to get onto Routes 4 and 6. Follow Route 6 towards Ueno and then towards Taito City. Look for signs for Yanaka, and once you enter the neighborhood, look for 3 Chome-1-2. The Kokozan Daienji Temple is located at this address. There is limited parking available nearby, so plan ahead!

To reach Kokozan Daienji Temple using public transportation, start at your accommodation in Oki and make your way to Hishiura Ferry Terminal. Board the ferry to mainland Japan. Once you arrive, proceed to Tokyo Station using the JR lines. From Tokyo Station, take the Yamanote Line to Nippori Station. Transfer to the Keisei Line and head towards Ueno. Once you arrive at Ueno Station, exit and find the subway entrance for the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line. Take the train to Yanaka Station. After exiting Yanaka Station, walk towards 3 Chome-1-2. The temple is a short walk from the station and is well-signposted.
