    From Oki, head to the nearest ferry terminal to take a ferry to the mainland of Honshu. The closest ferry terminal is in Sakaiminato. Board the ferry to Sakaiminato Port, which takes approximately 2 hours. Once you arrive at Sakaiminato, drive via Route 9 towards Himeji. The journey will take about 2 hours and 30 minutes. Follow the signs for Himeji Castle as you approach the city. Upon reaching Himeji, park in one of the nearby parking lots, such as the Himeji Castle Parking Lot.

    Public Transportation

    From Oki, take a ferry from the Oki Ferry Terminal to Sakaiminato Port, which takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive at Sakaiminato, walk to Sakaiminato Station (approximately 10 minutes). From Sakaiminato Station, take the JR San'in Main Line to Himeji Station. The train journey takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive at Himeji Station, exit the station and walk towards Himeji Castle, which is about a 15-minute walk. You can follow the signs or use a map application for guidance.
