If you're traveling by car, start from central Omi and head north on Route 292. Continue on Route 292 for approximately 30 km until you reach the junction with Route 18. Take the exit onto Route 18. Follow Route 18 for about 10 km, and then take the exit for Iiyama. Follow the signs for Madarao Kogen, which is located about 5 km from the exit. The resort will be well signposted, and you can park in the designated parking areas.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Omi Station to Iiyama Station. The bus ride takes about 40 minutes. Once at Iiyama Station, transfer to the local bus service heading towards Madarao Kogen. The bus will take approximately 30 minutes to reach Madarao Kogen. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited, especially during off-peak times.
