Car
If you are driving, take the National Route 8 towards Omihachiman. Once you reach Omihachiman, follow signs leading to 'Hachiman-bori Moat'. There is parking available in the vicinity, with a few public parking lots located near the moat. Expect to pay around 200-500 yen per hour for parking. Once parked, walk toward Osugicho, where the moat is located. The moat is within walking distance from the parking area.
Train
If you are using public transportation, take the Tōkaidō Main Line to Omihachiman Station. From the station, exit and head to the bus terminal located outside the station. You can take the bus labeled for Hachiman-bori (Hachiman-bori Line). The bus fare is approximately 200 yen. Get off at the 'Hachiman-bori' bus stop, and the moat will be within a short walking distance. Look for signs or ask a local for directions to reach the moat.
Bicycle
For a more scenic route, consider renting a bicycle from the Omihachiman Station. After renting, cycle towards the direction of Osugicho. It should take around 15-20 minutes to reach Hachiman-bori Moat. There are bike racks available near the moat for you to secure your bicycle while you explore the area.
