As you approach the city, turn onto Route 372 (国道372号) towards Himeji, and follow the signs for Himeji Castle. Parking is available near the castle, but be aware that it may incur a fee, typically around 500 yen.

To reach Himeji Castle by public transportation, head to the nearest train station in Omi. Take the JR Sanyo Line (山陽本線) towards Himeji. The journey takes around 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Himeji Station, exit the station and follow the signs for Himeji Castle. It is a 15-minute walk from the station, and you will see signs directing you to the castle. The train fare is approximately 800 yen one way.
