Getting There

  • Subway

    If you are starting from Osaka Station, take the JR Osaka Loop Line towards Bentencho Station. Transfer to the Chuo Line at Bentencho Station and continue towards Osakako Station. Once you arrive at Osakako Station, take the Exit 1, and follow the signs to the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, which is about a 10-minute walk.

  • Subway

    From Namba Station, take the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line to Hommachi Station. Transfer to the Chuo Line at Hommachi Station and head towards Osakako Station. After arriving at Osakako Station, exit via Exit 1 and walk approximately 10 minutes following the signs to the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan.

  • Bus

    If you're near Umeda, take the Osaka City Bus No. 88 from the Umeda area directly to the Kaiyukan stop. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. After disembarking at the Kaiyukan stop, you will see the aquarium within a short walking distance.

  • Walking

    If you are staying in the Tempozan Harbor Village area, you can easily walk to the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan. Just follow the waterfront promenade, and the aquarium will be clearly visible. It takes about 15 minutes walking from Tempozan Market Place.
