Train
To reach Shijo-dori in Kyoto from Osaka, start by heading to Osaka Station. From there, take the JR Kyoto Line towards Kyoto Station. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Kyoto Station, follow the signs to the Karasuma Line subway. Take the Karasuma Line towards Kokusai Kaikan and get off at Shijo Station. From Shijo Station, take Exit 1, and you will find yourself on Shijo-dori.
Bus
From Osaka, you can also take a highway bus to Kyoto. Head to the Osaka City Air Terminal (OCAT) or the Umeda Bus Terminal. Purchase a ticket for a highway bus to Kyoto Station. The journey takes about 1 hour, depending on traffic. After arriving at Kyoto Station, follow the signs to the Karasuma Line subway. Take the Karasuma Line towards Kokusai Kaikan and get off at Shijo Station. Exit from Exit 1 to reach Shijo-dori.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your location in Osaka to Shijo-dori in Kyoto. Just inform the driver that you want to go to Shijo-dori in Kyoto. The journey could take around 1 hour depending on traffic conditions. Be prepared for higher costs compared to public transport.
