Public Transport
From Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line to Uji Station. Rapid trains take about 20 minutes and cost ¥240. From Keihan Uji Station, it's a short walk to Uji Park. Alternatively, from central Kyoto (e.g., Gion area), take the Keihan Main Line to Chushojima Station, transfer to the Keihan Uji Line, and alight at Keihan Uji Station. This takes about 30 minutes and costs around ¥350. A Kyoto Day Ticket for the subway and Keihan lines to Uji costs ¥1100.
Walking
From either JR Uji Station or Keihan Uji Station, exit and walk towards the Uji River. Uji Park is located along the river, easily accessible via the Uji Bridge and other connecting bridges. The walk from either station takes approximately 5-10 minutes.
Car
If driving, navigate to Kyoto Prefectural Route 2. Follow signs for Uji. Parking is available near the park, with costs typically ranging from ¥500 to ¥1000 depending on the duration. Be aware that parking may be limited during peak seasons.
