Getting there

Car

From Amami Airport, take Route 58 towards Tatsugo. Follow the signs for Heart Rock, located in the Akaogi area. Parking is available near the site, with both free and paid options. Be aware that the driveway to the free parking may be bumpy. From the parking area, it's a short walk through a forest path to the beach. Parking is free.

Bus

Take the airport bus towards Akaogi village. The Akaogi Bus Stop is the most convenient. From there, it is approximately a 5-minute walk to the beach trail entrance. Check the Shima Bus official website for current routes and timetables. Bus fare will vary depending on the distance, but expect to pay around ¥500 or less for a short trip.

Taxi

Taxis are available from Amami Airport. A taxi ride to Heart Rock takes approximately 15 minutes. Confirm availability and rates in advance. The taxi fare will likely be around ¥2,000-¥3,000.
