    From Amami Airport or Amami City (Naze), take the Shima Bus bound for Koniya. Get off at the 'Mangrove Park Bus Stop'. The bus ride from Naze takes approximately 40 minutes. Bus fares are payable in cash only. Ensure you have 1,000 yen bills or smaller denominations.

  • Car

    From Naze, follow Route 58 south for about 20 minutes. The road passes right by the park entrance and mangrove. There is a large parking area by the Mangrove Park. Car rentals are available at Amami Airport and in Amami City. Advance reservations are recommended.
