If you're driving to Shinkyō Bridge from Owari, head northwest on Route 23, then merge onto the Tōmei Expressway (E1) towards Nagoya. After approximately 70 km, take the exit towards Nikko. Follow the signs for Route 119, which will lead you directly into Nikko. Once in the city, head towards Kamihatsuishimachi. The bridge is well signposted, and you'll find parking available nearby, which typically costs around ¥500 for a few hours.

To reach Shinkyō Bridge using public transportation, start by taking a train from Owari to Utsunomiya Station. From Utsunomiya, transfer to the Tōbu Nikko Line and take the train to Tobu Nikko Station. The entire journey takes approximately 2-3 hours and costs around ¥2,500. Once you arrive at Tobu Nikko Station, you can either walk (about 30 minutes) or take a bus towards Kamihatsuishimachi, where the bridge is located. Bus tickets are typically around ¥300.
