Walking
From JR Takamatsu Station, the Kagawa Museum is approximately a 10-minute walk east. Exit the station and walk straight along the main road. You'll pass Tamamo Park (Takamatsu Castle ruins) on your left. The museum is located on the east side of the park. From Kotoden Takamatsu-Chikko Station, it's also about a 10-minute walk. Head east, passing Tamamo Park on your way.
Public Transport
If arriving by bus at JR Takamatsu Station, it's best to walk to the museum as it is close by. Alternatively, from Takamatsu Airport, take the Airport Limousine Bus to Takamatsu Station (approximately 10 minutes) and then walk to the museum. The bus fare is around ¥750.
Taxi
A taxi from JR Takamatsu Station to the Kagawa Museum is a short ride, costing approximately ¥700-¥900, depending on traffic. The journey should take around 5-10 minutes.
Driving
If driving, the Kagawa Museum is about 25 minutes from the Takamatsu Chuo Interchange. Paid parking is available at the museum. The underground parking lot accommodates up to 50 ordinary vehicles. Parking costs ¥100 per 25 minutes. Be aware that the maximum vehicle height is 2 meters. Alternatively, various parking lots are available in the Takamatsu area. Parking fees typically range from ¥100 to ¥150 per 30 minutes.
