From Sanuki, get on the Takamatsu Expressway and head towards Takamatsu. Continue on the expressway until you reach the Sano Interchange. From there, follow the signs for Route 50 towards Nikko. Once you arrive in Nikko, follow the signs to Nikkō Tōshogū, which is located at 2301 Sannai, Nikko, Tochigi 321-1431. Make sure to have some cash on hand as there are tolls along the expressway, which may cost around ¥1000-¥2000 depending on your route.

To reach Nikkō Tōshogū by public transportation from Sanuki, first take a train from Sanuki Station to Takamatsu Station.
