From Sapporo Station, take the JR Hakodate Line towards Otaru. The train ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Make sure to check the train schedule as trains run frequently. Once you arrive at Otaru Station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Route 5).

Walking from Otaru Station
After exiting Otaru Station, walk straight down the main road (Route 5) for about 10 minutes. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. As you continue on Route 5, keep an eye out for signs pointing towards the Otaru Museum. Turn left onto Temiya Street (1 Chome) and walk for another 5-10 minutes until you reach the museum at 1 Chome-3-6 Temiya.

Alternatively, from Otaru Station, you can take a local bus. Look for the bus stop outside Otaru Station and catch the bus heading towards 'Temiya' or 'Otaru Museum.' The bus ride will take about 10 minutes. Get off at the designated stop, and the museum will be a short walk from there.
