    Start your journey at Sapporo Station, which is the main train station in Sapporo. Board the Namboku Line (Green Line) subway train heading towards Makomanai. After about 4 stops, get off at Odori Station. At Odori Station, transfer to the Tozai Line (Orange Line) and take the train towards Kanjodori. After 2 stops, get off at Susukino Station.

    From Susukino Station, exit the station and head north on the main street (South 4th Avenue). Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with North 3rd Avenue. Turn left (west) onto North 3rd Avenue and walk until you reach North 8th Street. Then turn right (north) onto North 8th Street. The entrance to Botanic Garden Hokkaidō University will be on your left.

    Alternatively, from Sapporo Station, you can take a city bus. Look for the bus stop labeled 'Sapporo Station Bus Terminal' and board any bus heading towards Chuo Ward.
