The Funsui, located in the Water and Light Zone, is one of the iconic features of Sapporo's Odori Park. This 1.5-kilometer-long park divides Sapporo into north and south sections, offering a green escape in the heart of the city. Originally designated as a main street in 1871, it evolved into a park in 1909 and has since become a beloved spot for locals and tourists alike.The fountain provides a tranquil oasis with its soothing sounds and visual appeal. During warmer months, the surrounding flowerbeds burst with color, enhancing the beauty of the area. The park features around 4,700 trees of approximately 90 species, including the city's official tree, the lilac.Odori Park has five themed zones, each offering a unique experience.
