    If you're driving from Satsuma, head south on Route 3. Continue on Route 3 for about 20 km until you reach the intersection with Route 226. Turn left onto Route 226 and follow the signs for Ibusuki. After approximately 15 km, keep an eye out for signs for Mt. Uomidake Nature Park. You'll need to turn right onto a smaller road that leads directly to the park entrance. Parking is available at the park entrance. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around 500 yen.
