Getting There

Car
If you're traveling by car, start by heading towards Route 170 (Kita-Osaka Kyuryo Line). Follow the signs for Osaka and take the exit for Tennoji. Once you exit, continue on the local roads towards 1 Chome-11-18 Shitennoji, Tennoji Ward, Osaka. There are several parking areas nearby, but be prepared to pay for parking, which can range from 300 to 700 yen per hour.

Train
For those using public transportation, take the Kintetsu Osaka Line from Settsu to Osaka Abenobashi Station. From there, transfer to the JR Loop Line and get off at Tennoji Station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs for the East Exit and head towards Shitenno-ji, which is about a 10-minute walk from the station. Make sure to check for train schedules and ticket prices, as the train fare is approximately 400 yen one way.

If you prefer to take the bus, you can catch a local bus from Settsu that heads towards Tennoji. Look for a bus that goes to the 'Shitennoji' stop. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes, and the fare is usually around 220 yen. After getting off, follow the signs to Shitenno-ji which is a short walk from the bus stop.
