Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Yusuhara town, Mishima Shrine is easily accessible on foot. Head north on the main street, and you'll soon spot the wooden torii gate and the covered Miyuki Bridge leading to the shrine entrance. The walk is short and pleasant, allowing you to take in the town's atmosphere and local architecture. No costs involved.

  • Public Transport

    If arriving by bus at Yusuhara Bus Stop, walk back about 50 meters from the direction you came from and then cross the road at the second crosswalk. Cross the road at the crosswalk where the cosmetics store is located and then turn right. You’ll arrive at Machi-no-Eki Yusuhara in about 5 minutes. From there, head north on the main street to reach Mishima Shrine. Bus fare from Susaki Station to Yusuhara is approximately ¥1,250 and takes about 70 minutes.

  • Driving

    If driving, approach Yusuhara via Route 197. Mishima Shrine is located in the center of town and is easily recognizable by the Miyuki Bridge. Limited parking is available near the shrine. Parking at Marche Yusuhara includes 5 slots on the left side of the traffic light and 7 slots across the road in front of the hotel. Parking fees may apply.
