Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Shimotsuke. Use Route 4 and head north towards Nikko. Continue along Route 4 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 121. Turn right onto Route 121 and follow the signs for Yudaki Falls, which is located in Yumoto, Nikko. After about 15 kilometers, you will see signs for Yudaki Falls. The parking lot is available near the falls, but please note that there may be a parking fee of around 500 yen.
Train and Bus
For those using public transportation, begin by taking a train from Shimotsuke Station to Kiyotaki Station on the Tobu Nikko Line. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. From Kiyotaki Station, you will need to transfer to a local bus heading towards Yumoto Onsen. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Yudaki Falls' stop, which is clearly marked. There may be a small fare for the bus, typically around 600 yen. Once you disembark, follow the signs that lead you to the falls, which is a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
