Car
If you are driving from central Shinano, take Route 18 heading north. Continue for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the intersection with Route 292. Turn right onto Route 292 and follow the signs for Iiyama. After about 15 minutes, you will see signs for Madarao Kogen on your right. Turn onto the access road, and continue straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the resort entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Madarao Kogen by public transport, start at the Shinano Station. Take the local train on the Iiyama Line towards Iiyama Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once at Iiyama Station, exit and look for the bus terminal located just outside the station. Board the 'Madarao Kogen' bus, which operates regularly, and enjoy a scenic ride for about 20 minutes until you arrive at Madarao Kogen. The bus will drop you off directly at the resort entrance.
