    Driving

    The most convenient way to access the Hamaishidake trailhead is by car. From Shizuoka City, follow Route 1 towards Shimizu. Look for signs directing you towards Yuimachi Yahara. Parking is available near the trailhead, but spaces are limited, especially on weekends. Parking cost is free. Be aware that the road leading to the trailhead can be narrow and winding.

    Public Transport

    While possible, reaching the trailhead via public transport is less convenient. From Shizuoka Station, take the JR Tokaido Line to Okitsu Station. From there, it's approximately a 50-minute, 3km walk to the trailhead. The train fare from Shizuoka to Okitsu is approximately ¥240. Consider using a taxi from Okitsu Station to shorten the walking distance, costing approximately ¥1,500 - ¥2,000.
