Driving
From JR Okitsu Station or Yui Station, drive approximately 10-15 minutes to the parking area near the Satta Pass viewpoint. Note that some parts of the road are narrow and require careful driving. Parking is limited with only 7 spots. From the parking area, it's a short, gentle walk to the viewing spot.
Public Transport
Take the JR Tokaido Line to either Okitsu Station or Yui Station. From either station, you can take a taxi to the Satta Pass viewpoint, which takes about 10 minutes. Alternatively, you can hike from either station; the hike from Okitsu Station takes about 40-50 minutes uphill, while the hike from Yui Station is about 1 hour. Taxi fare from either station is approximately ¥1,500 - ¥2,000.
Walking
The Satta Pass trail stretches between JR Okitsu and JR Yui Stations. Walking the full trail takes about 90-100 minutes, depending on your pace. From Okitsu Station, it's about a 40–50 minute walk uphill to the observation deck. From the deck to Yui Station, the downhill route takes another 50 minutes.
