If you are driving, set your GPS to '3053-2 Kanayafujimicho, Shimada, Shizuoka 428-0034'. From Suruga, take Route 1 (Tōmei Expressway) towards Hamamatsu. After approximately 30 minutes, exit at Shimada. Follow signs for Shimada and then for Kanayafujimicho. The Tea Museum will be on your right. Parking is available at the museum.

To reach the Tea Museum by public transport, take the JR Tokaido Line from Suruga Station to Shimada Station. The train ride takes about 20 minutes. Once at Shimada Station, exit and transfer to the Shizuoka Railway (Shizuoka Tetsudo) for the Shizuoka Line. Get off at Kanaya Station, which takes about 10 minutes. From Kanaya Station, you can take a taxi (approximately 10 minutes, around ¥1,500) to the Tea Museum, or if you prefer, it's about a 30-minute walk.

Another option is to take a local bus from Shimada Station. The bus service towards Kanayafujimicho departs regularly (approximately every 30 minutes). The ride takes about 25 minutes. Get off at the 'Kanayafujimicho' bus stop, which is a short 5-minute walk to the Tea Museum. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as they may vary.
