Getting There

  • Car

    From Tajima, take Route 9 towards Himeji, then merge onto the Sanyo Expressway (E2) heading towards Osaka. Continue on the expressway for about 1.5 hours. Take exit 21A for the Shibuya area, and follow signs for Shibuya. Once you arrive in Shibuya, look for parking options in the vicinity of Shibuya Parco, where Nintendo Tokyo is located on the 6th floor. Be aware that parking in this area can be expensive, with rates around ¥500 per 30 minutes.

  • Train

    Start at Tajima Station and take the JR San-in Line to Himeji Station. From Himeji, transfer to the JR Sanyo Line towards Osaka and get off at Shibuya Station. The entire journey will take approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Once at Shibuya Station, take the Hachiko Exit and walk towards Shibuya Parco, which is about a 5-10 minute walk. Nintendo Tokyo is located on the 6th floor. Be sure to purchase a ticket for the train, which will cost around ¥2,500.

  • Bus

    Board a highway bus from Tajima to Tokyo. The bus will take approximately 5-6 hours depending on traffic. Upon arrival at the Tokyo City Bus Terminal, transfer to the JR Yamanote Line and head to Shibuya Station. Once at Shibuya Station, exit via the Hachiko Exit and walk towards Shibuya Parco, which is a short 5-10 minute walk. Note that the bus fare is typically around ¥4,000-¥5,000 one-way.
