Tokyo DisneySea, located in Urayasu, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, is a one-of-a-kind theme park that opened on September 4, 2001. It's owned by The Oriental Land Company, who licenses intellectual property from The Walt Disney Company. This nautical-themed park distinguishes itself from other Disney parks with its focus on the sea and exploration.The park is divided into several themed ports of call: Mediterranean Harbor, American Waterfront, Lost River Delta, Port Discovery, Mermaid Lagoon, Arabian Coast, Mysterious Island, and the newly opened Fantasy Springs.
