Car
If you are driving, start by navigating to Tango using your preferred GPS app. Once in Tango, head towards Shinjuku City. From Tango, take Route 178 towards the west until you reach the intersection with Route 9. Merge onto Route 9 and continue driving for approximately 70 kilometers. Once you arrive in Shinjuku City, look for parking options nearby as the Samurai Museum does not provide its own parking. There are several paid parking lots around Kabukicho where you can safely leave your vehicle.

Public Transportation
To reach Samurai Museum via public transport, start at your nearest train station in Tango. Take the train to Kyoto Station, where you will transfer to the Shinkansen (bullet train) heading towards Tokyo. This journey will take around 2 hours. Once you arrive at Tokyo Station, switch to the JR Chuo Line and get off at Shinjuku Station, which is about a 15-minute ride. From Shinjuku Station, exit through the East Exit and walk for about 10 minutes towards Kabukicho. The Samurai Museum is located at 2 Chome−25−6, Kabukicho, in the Horizon Building. Look for signs directing you to Kabukicho as you walk.
