Train and Bus

To reach Goishi Beach using public transportation, first take a train to Ofunato Station. From major cities like Sendai or Morioka, you can take the JR East Line that connects to the Ofunato Line. Upon arriving at Ofunato Station, exit and find the bus terminal located nearby. Look for buses that head towards Ohama or directly to Goishi Beach. The bus ride should take approximately 30 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as services may be limited, especially on weekends.

If you prefer a more direct route from Ofunato Station, consider taking a taxi. Taxis are available at the station, and the ride to Goishi Beach will take about 15 minutes.
