    Public Transport

    To reach Kitayamazaki Cape via public transportation, take the Sanriku Railway to Tanohata Station. From Tanohata Station, a 'share taxi' runs to Kitayamazaki Cape. The ride takes about 20 minutes and costs ¥800 per person. Alternatively, a regular taxi from Tanohata Station to Kitayamazaki Cape costs approximately ¥3900. Note that bus services may be limited on weekends.

    If traveling by car, head towards Route 45. From Morioka, take Route 4 towards the coast and merge onto Route 45 until you reach Tanohata. Follow the signs to Kitayamazaki Cape. Parking is available near the cape. The drive from Morioka takes approximately 2-3 hours. Parking for 140 regular cars and 10 large cars is available.
