If you're driving from Aomori city, take National Route 7 (also known as the Hachinohe Road) heading towards Hirosaki. The drive is approximately 30 minutes (around 30 km). Once you reach Hirosaki, look for signs directing you to Hirosaki Castle. There is parking available near the castle, but be aware that it may incur a parking fee ranging from 300 to 500 yen, depending on the duration of your stay.

To reach Hirosaki Castle via public transport, take the JR Ou Main Line from Aomori Station to Hirosaki Station. The train ride takes about 40 minutes. Upon arriving at Hirosaki Station, exit the station and head to the bus terminal located just outside the station. Board the Konan Bus (Route 1 or 2) heading towards Hirosaki Park, which is a short bus ride away (approximately 10 minutes). The bus fare is around 210 yen. Once you get off at Hirosaki Park, it's a short walk to the castle.
