If you prefer public transportation, take the Shinkansen (bullet train) to Sendai Station. From Sendai Station, take the JR Senzan Line to Kawauchi Station. This journey usually takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Kawauchi Station, you can either walk to the Bust of Date Masamune, which is approximately a 20-minute walk, or take a local bus (Bus No. 55) heading towards Aobayama Park and get off at the Aobayama Koen bus stop, which is a short walk from the bust.
