Getting There

  • Subway

    Start by taking the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line from any station in Tokyo. If you're near Shinjuku, board the train at Shinjuku Station towards Yoyogi Uehara. Get off at Meiji-Jingumae (Harajuku) Station. From Meiji-Jingumae Station, take Exit 2, which leads directly to the entrance of Yoyogi Park.

    After exiting Meiji-Jingumae Station, walk straight into Yoyogi Park. Continue walking straight until you reach the first torii gate, which is the Sanno Torii. It’s a large wooden gate marking the entrance to Meiji Jingu Shrine, located at 1 Yoyogikamizonocho, Shibuya City, Tokyo 151-0052.
