Experience Ro-mon Gate

Getting There

  • Train

    If you're starting from Shinjuku Station, take the JR Chuo Line (Rapid) towards Tokyo Station. Get off at Suidobashi Station (approximately 15 minutes). From Suidobashi Station, take the East Exit and walk towards the Tokyo Dome City area. Continue straight until you reach the intersection, then turn left onto the road that leads you to the entrance of the Nezu Shrine, where Ro-mon Gate is located.

  • Subway

    From Ueno Station, take the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line towards Naka-Meguro and get off at Nezu Station (about 5 minutes). Take Exit 1 from Nezu Station and walk straight for about 10 minutes. Follow the signs for Nezu Shrine, and you will arrive at Ro-mon Gate shortly after entering the shrine grounds.

  • Bus

    From Tokyo Station, take the Toei Bus bound for 'Ueno-Koen' (Ueno Park) and get off at the 'Nezu Jinja' bus stop (approximately 20 minutes). After getting off, walk straight for about 5 minutes, following the signs to Nezu Shrine, where you will find Ro-mon Gate at the entrance.
