From Yokohama Station, take bus number 8 or 148 from the East Exit bus terminal to Sankeien-Iriguchi bus stop. The ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes. From the Sankeien-Iriguchi bus stop, it is a 5-minute walk to the garden entrance. The bus fare is a flat rate of ¥220.
Public Transport
Alternatively, from Negishi Station on the JR Negishi Line, take bus number 58, 99, or 101 to the Honmoku bus stop. The bus ride is about 10 minutes. From the Honmoku bus stop, it is a 10-minute walk to the garden's main entrance. The bus fare is approximately ¥220.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available from Yokohama Station or other major transportation hubs in the city. A taxi ride from Yokohama Station to Sankeien Garden typically takes 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. The estimated fare is between ¥2,500 and ¥3,500.
Parking
If driving, navigate to 58-1 Honmoku Sannotani, Naka Ward, Yokohama, Kanagawa 231-0824. Parking is available at Honmoku City Park parking lot next to the main entrance. The parking fee is ¥500 per day. Parking can be crowded on weekends and holidays, so public transport is recommended.
