Getting There

  • Train

    From Tokyo Station, take the JR Yamanote Line towards Ueno. The ride takes about 10 minutes. Get off at Ueno Station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs for the Park Exit. After exiting, you will see the park entrance directly in front of you.

  • Subway

    If you are near Shinjuku, take the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line to Ikebukuro Station, and transfer to the JR Yamanote Line towards Ueno. After about a 20-minute ride, get off at Ueno Station. Follow the signs for the Park Exit to reach Ueno Park.

  • Bus

    From Asakusa, take the Toei Bus (number 98) towards Ueno Station. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Get off at the Ueno Park Stop, and you will find yourself at the entrance of the park.
